The February 5% Solution is going to the St. Jude Children's Hospital.
St. Jude is unlike any other pediatric treatment and research facility. St. Jude never turns away children because of inability to pay. The year - end 5% Solution Fund charitable contribution will be increased to $500 so that we address the swelling need for food service in Shiawassee County.
St. Mary's Parish has formally established a charitable fund. The: 5% Fund generates financial resources based on five percent of the collection during the last week of the month. This fund will be administered by the "5% Fund Committee."
Our Mission is to: Identify people in our community or in the world community who are in need of assistance, and do our best to help them meet those needs. Monthly contributions will be made from the fund to those in our need of our human kindness. The committee encourages parishioners to offer suggestions for worthy recipients of these monthly gifts.
